Hi I'm Avalon and I run this blog. Sparkles & Novels is a blog I created to review books, series, and overall show my continuing passion for reading. Being that I am the age of 13 I do not, can not, and will not read any adult novels, anime/manga, etc. This blog will focus mainly focus on young adult fiction and non fiction. I particurarly love Realistic Fiction, Sci-fi, Dystopia/Utopia, Urban Fantasy, Teen Fiction etc.

The Five Stars Points System.
1- Terrible Will NOT Recommend Did not enjoy
2-  Okay- Will not Recommend did not enjoy
3- Good May Recommend
4- Great Recommend
5- Excellent Highly Recommended

I use the 5 point system like many other book/movie reviewers. 5 meaning a great highly recommended book. 1 meaning terrible (well...not very good) do not recommend.

I accept books in exchange for a fair and honest review. I accept books on Kindle and iPad. Also please note that if I give a book a bad review does not mean that it is actually in fact a bad book. I give reviews purely over my opinion.

Book blogging and writing reviews has been a hobby of mine since I started reading and chatting with my mom. I am not a professional book reviewer, but you can expect a fair and honest insight on all books that I read.
